A week without a posting, .. how's that for a change?

Been away for a few days camping, and this weekend painting at

Poelwijk a lovely estate with wonderful gardens!!

It was a awesome weekend, thank you soo much Carla and Koen!!

On my way to Giesbeek. Duiven, Holland.

Each time when I bike to my Morris I pass this scene

and each time I think I really have to paint it someday.

It has to be done in the early morning because the light

on the far hills is much better then, ... and each time I have

to bike along because the time just isn't there. Today it was

and the light was also good so I am glad that I took the

opportunity. It's somehow a strange scene for Dutch matter

most of the country is soo flat, ... that this hillside is very

pronounced.

Painting in Vlist

Painted with Corry Kooij and Erik van Elven again in

Vlist yesterday. Corry had organized a lovely spot where

we could paint around as much as we wanted. De Vlist

is soo extremely Dutch, even scary for me!

Anyway it was a gorgeous day and well worth the trip.

Made this after a days work on my Morris.

Pity the guys was covering up the boat and

was quiet quick at it aswell so I had to paint

some of it from my camera, ... pity because

this inner space of this vessel is very nice.

"New station." Westervoort, Holland.

Finally Westervoort is getting a station!!

For years the trains run across this large dike but

didn't stop in my hometown, ... this is going to change!

The first work is on their way and I'll guess I'll be painting

some more of this building site.

Revisited my favorite garden centre, ... Overhagen.

They where very very busy because the summer (so it seems)

is in full swing around here, they are at least a month ahead on schedule.

Anyway I found this little corner with a little chair and head.

against a very dark hedge it just popped out soo much!
