    Something almost Cezanne-like in this, with the tension of that vertical line of the canal edge/bridge. Intriguing point of view makes it very memorable.

    I like this one a lot and the last one too. There are some places I have been to around here that these paintings made me remember, they have the same mood to them. Cool shady feeling.

    The painting is so believable I can feel the dampness in the air. The light dancing across the water is just wonderful.
