Rene, you need to come to Canada if you like snow. :-) Just remember it is usually below zero most of the winter. We also have a great fall and summer and spring. Happy New Year and good painting in the new year.
Sasha I just use Alizarin Crimson medium, Ultramarine Blue dark and Cadm. Yellow Light. And I pré mix a little before I start mixing as close as I can the main grayish dark that there is.

How do you get your basic brown? Do you mix wine-colour with one of the blue colors, or simply add a burnt bone black?
