"Old IJssel." Doetinchem, Holland.

No not the IJssel like I used to paint in Westervoort.
This is the "OLD IJssel" and other river that flows
into the IJssel, it's not a big river and as Keith Tilley
says the edges really are a lot softer.

    I like the interesting curves in the river, which lead the eye through the painting. The black posts make a beautifully simple focal point as well.
