Apeldoorn, Holland.

Just to keep on the radar, but not for sell.
A nice terrace in Apeldoorn where I been with
my girlfriend yesterday.

As you can see, I can't watercolor but it was great fun to do
the funny bit is, how more people how easier it is, you can
go up in the crowd much easier.

To see some REAL watercolors, go to Sarah Wimperis's blog

"The muddy red shoes."

a great inspiration for everybody who paints daily,
such joy and love she is able to put into her drawings,
paintings and not to forget her watercolors!!

A monumental house. Holland.

Today I biked to Oosterbeek to paint a house that I wanted
to paint for a long time, ... a vicars house that did duty in the
second world war as a R.A.P. during the operation "Market Garden".

A Regimental Aid Posts just behind Oosterbeek Church, in and around this house of Kate ter Horst. She opened up her home and filled it to capacity with as many of the wounded and dying as she could. Throughout the battle she did all that any one person could do to make her guests comfortable and to ease their suffering.

(The Vicars house.) Oil on board.

To give an impression on how things where then:

And how it is today:

It's such an honour to be able to paint this house.

Sometimes you walk or bike into a path that isn't allowed.

told me was stolen, so how weird can you go?!

Great day, part twee. Holland.

The most beautiful thing I've discovered
yesterday was a little city-garden called
"De watertuin." Its a garden that is surrounded
by houses and the people who are living there
maintain it, yet it is public and such a little marble
in a big city, like Arnhem.

"Vanuit De Watertuin." Arnhem, Holland.
(From out The Water-garden.)
Oil on board. 22 x 24 cm.

I've discovered even more city-gardens
so just for myself,

No painting today, just a memory

Today I walked against a song from the Dutch band Blöf.
The drummer of this band died a few years ago from an
traffic accident. They made this album "Blauwe ruis." (Blue static.)
In memory of him.

The song I walked against is called "Mooie dag." (Beautiful day.)

You can hear the song here. (Windows media player.)
More info about this band you can find here.

The text. (in Dutch)
