Worst painting ever!!! Holland.

Sometimes you just don't have it in you,
Today it was my turn, everything went wrong
the setup, a tree standing in the way, too many people
asking and looking, ... aaaah just horrible.

But then again, this means I am still human, and do
have to learn a lot. And that's not a bad thing because
I like to learn, paint and discover new spots.

"Geen titel." Bemmel, Holland.
(Untitled.) Oil on board.
24 x 24 cm. (not for sale!)

Sorry Rene, but you got it wrong. This is not the worst painting ever. Not even close. You should see the one I did today. Maybe not the best day for you to be out there to paint but the painting was worth it. Get back up on your bike and get out there. Tomorrow another scene awaits your brush. And we all can't wait to see the result.

can't possibly be the worst painting ever, as I've got that one in my studio :-) Part of the problem with progress is that then we become more critical of our own work

I agree with Peter! It may not be your best but its not at all bad!
But I know exactly what you felt like after a day like that! It is sooo frustrating!

your worst makes my best look bad.
I like it-especialy the softness of the figures on the bridge.

Thank you all for the encouragement.

You say "worst painting"...I heartily disagree! I love it, actually! Beautiful subject, lovely palette...and the tree is just where is should be.... We are our own toughest critics. This is enchanting. Jeanne
