While painting this church against the sunlight, with in mind
the large tree that was standing in front of it,
these people stood there for quiet a while, ...
Catching up I reckoned.
The Sun disappeared and the mood of the scene change
so dramatically that I change my focus on these people,
and tried to catch up, so to say with the mood at home
on the church, .. so not 100% plein air, .... sorry.

Love the big dark shape!
This is a great piece! The large dark shape really stands in contrast with the small figures. Beautiful!
