"Morgenpad." Westervoort, Holland.

Sometimes you have to siege the moment, ...
just paint and for most paint by memory, as today.

Within 15 to 30 minutes time the whole scene was gone
luckily I had taken some photos, but mostly it's done
by memory, ...

"Morgenpad." Westervoort, Holland.
(Morning path.) Oil on board.
22 x 30 cm.

First photo, ...

Second.

Last.

To be able to view these scenes, is just awesome, ... lucky me.

That looks pretty cold René! I think you were just in time for the right picture.
I am not sure, but on the painting the waterpools look a bit like ice to me, so even colder, that's ok :-)
I can resemble it with the pictures you took now, and maybe it wouldn't be like ice if it was more one color (egaal bedoel ik haha). But cooool picture!

René, this is a beautiful moody painting. Very nice. I haven't been stopping by the wc plein air site much, but enjoy seeing your blog. Thanks.
