"Bloemenmarkt." Utrecht, Holland.

Utrecht is a great city in Holland.
Especially on Saturday, busing with people
and all kind of little markets everywhere.

We had an appointment in a town nearby but I just couldn't
resist to try and capture a little scene of the big city
in the middle of our country.

Very nice to see a bit of Utrecht. One of our major art supply companies is named Utrecht. I'm still using some Utrecht oil paint that I bought as a student in 1970! Your painting has a feeling of sunlight filtering through the woods. Wonderful colors again.

I like the way that the trees add to the sense of depth.

Thanks for the tip about the palette knife. I'll try that next time.
