"In de steigers." Nijmegen, Holland.

Finally made it outside again, Nijmegen this time.
Together wit Jos van Riswick a great still life painter.

Nijmegen is a very old city, and it wasn't easy to find a nice
spot, they tend to end in some sort of "Anton Pieck" paintings often.
Not that that's so bad, but not what I intended.

Jos bedankt, het was weer vanouds gezellig.

I love your paintings. I check them out all the time. Since you live in Holland, I was wondering if there were any windmills around for you to paint.
Keep up the excellent work.

Certainly very true to what you actually saw... There is an unpredictable part in any plein air outing and we like this one too.

I should know this place - I lived in Nijmegen for 8 years, but that was a long time ago. Somewhere in the benedenstad - correct? Someone once compared one of my paintings to Anton Pieck. I took it as the compliment it was intended to be, but I know what you mean...

Nice one, Rene. I enjoyed Jos's view of this too.
