"Klein Wales." Lathum, Holland.

At least that was what I was thinking while looking at this
scene, ...

"Klein Wales." Lathum, Holland.
(Little Wales.) Oil on panel.

I made some progression shots, ... enjoy.

René, dit is wat ik bedoelde. Alsof je zelf buiten staat te schilderen. Genieten geblazen! Dit soort zaken blijven delen!

Thanks for the demo. Beautiful light.
So your palette is ultramarine blue dark, permanent alizarin and cad yellow light + Titanium white?

Thanks Dale, John en Erik,

Indeed my palette is those three colours although Alizarin is in real "kraplak medium" I use Rembrandt and those guys don't have Alizarin in their series.
Also I use some liquin, especially in the premix and block-inn.

Glad you liked it.

Ok, thanks. I must give that a try soon, it will be good for my colormixing technique. Really enjoying the oilpainting books (Oil Painting Pure and Simple, and A Light Touch) you suggested a while ago.)

I got it from Kevin MacPherson's

Fill your oil painting with light and colours

book, when you like the other two you should try that one as well, ...
