Chassing the Sun. Arnhem, Holland.

Usually it's a stupid idea to chase changes in your painting
sessions, but this time it worked out quiet well I think.

I started with an all covered sky but at the end of my session
the Sun begun to shine very intense, and it was such a treat
I just couldn't resist. I had to walk a little to get a clear
view to see if the Sun was staying and that seemed to be the
case.

So I took the risk, ...

"Onderlangs richting Artez." Arnhem, Holland.
(Downside heading Artez.) Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

Btw. Artez is an art-centre/school and this little Alley is the main road to
it, so lots of students where passing by, quiet funny. Some of them
didn't want to pay any attention and other found it just wonderful to
see an old painter doing his thing.
