"Canadian War Cemetery." Groesbeek, Holland.

If you ever have a change to paint a war cemetery, ... go for it!
I did it several times and each time it's soo impressive.
You really feel that it is an honor to do and that somehow your
being watched, not spooky in any way but just that you
become aware how much effort it took that you have the
freedom to paint whatever you want, ...

"Canadese Erebegraafplaats Groesbeek." Groesbeek, Holland.
(Candian war cemetery Groesbeek.) Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

I like the subject - every war cemetery always gives strong feelings - and the light between the trees is somehow supernatural.

My uncle took part in the liberation of Holland, he always speaks fondly of the people there. Thank you for the painting.
