"Yellow!" Arnhem, Holland.

Yellow (Geel in Dutch) was all there was to see
when I started to paint this famous bridge of Arnhem.
As I mentioned before it's tricky painting fog, before
you know you add more and more and realize in the
end you painted all the fog away, ...

"Geel." Arnhem, Holland.
(Yellow.)  Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

After that I got on the building site where they build a new shoreline
of the Rhine. The builders where very busy packing everything up
that's because they forecast extreme high tide this ,Monday, ...
I knew then what I will paint Monday!

"Bouwen aan de Rijnkade." Arnhem, Holland.
(Building on the Rijnkade.) Oil on panel.
24 x 30 cm.

I like the bridge, especially the way you've painted all the metal girders.

Monday should be good, I hope the weather is OK for painting.

Thanks you two,

High tide is always great fun keith, there are massive flood plains around here, ... could be cold though with all that melted ice-water.

Very soft tones in the works, but magnificent.

I'm relieved that at least one other person "over works" their foggy paintings! Why is fog so difficult? :-) Maybe it's a reflection of my mental status? :-)

PS I look forward to your posts with great anticipation.
