Doesburg, Holland.

Again Doesburg, I have almost a weekly appointment
over there and it's good to visit a town so much, I discovered
We (the town and I) know each other better and better, and
surprisingly I now look at this town a whole lot different then
I first went to it. Much more intimate so to speak.

Anyway, today I had some more time (summertime) and
manege to do two pieces, the first was horrible because the
light went soo extremely fast, I never thought it would go
that fast, I even measured it somewhat before I started, but still,
I had to tweak it a little at home.

"Eenrichtingsweg." Doesburg, Holland.

Love 'em Rene, but also love your admission of 'tweaking later' too!

Love them both...especially the blue house in the first one and the shape of the side of the house in the second against the sky. Happy painting! :)

These both have a wonderful feel to them - the architecture is so well rendered - it brings me right back to a wonderful trip I took to Holland a few years ago. Welcome to DPO, Rene!
