"Smeared White Sídhe." Doetinchem, Holland.

It's getting autumn like around here in the early morning,
lots of 'Witte Wieven' (White Sídhe.) around in the morning, ...
Tricky to paint them, once they notice you they are gone.
One tip for it, is to stand on the edge on a shadow, estimate a little
how long it will take to get into the sun light, this way you're probably
notice a bit sooner that the world around you is changed, ...
"Uitgesmeerde witte wieve." Doetinchem, Holland.
(Smeared White Sídhe.) Oil on panel. 24 x 30 cm.

"Witte wieven" are always tricky René. There are a lot of stories about it. So be carefull :-) . This time you catched them. It's a lovely painting giving us the atmosphere of this early morning of a beautifull sunny day.
