"Cemetery Loolaan." Doetinchem, Holland.

Often I walk around after finishing a painting to see if there
are more subjects of interest, I noticed this scene in the spring
and knew it could only be painted with the leaves off the treas.
I'd reckoned that it's well worth the effort to give it a go in the
autumn as well now all the leaves where gone.

Graveyards always look atmospheric in the autumn they have a melancholic feel with the golden leaves falling all around and the crisp damp air. Your painting conveys this emotion. I am following your blog but do not always comment, however, I admire that you are dedicated to paint everyday.
