How do you paint outside in the rain? It does that a lot in Holland. I"m really drawn to this painting because of the feeling.

Painting in the rain isn't that difficult. First try to paint against the rain so you board an palette doesn't get too wet, second tilt your pochade a bit so the rain can't reach the board. Third when it really pours a lot, you can decide to wait a while, the light is much more simular during overcast wheater so you've got more time. some artists use all kinds of umbrella's I don't like those, especially wind wind you tend to put in more energy in the umbrella then the painting.
