Autumn 2016 Doetinchem, The Netherlands.

What a morning!

Napels yellow is definitely from the palette now, ... replaced by Buffed Titanium.

Love your Autumn painting, so quiet and peaceful. I very much like buff titanium. I learned of it from English Artist David Curtis. I saw him use it on one of his videos that I bought and somehow found his emailaddress and wrote and asked him what that colour was. He very kindly responded that it was buff titanium. God bless, C-Marie

AAargh you've got a email address of David Curtis, ... man what could you ask more!?

I like the Buffed Titanium a lot, together with the Napels Yellow, they are some sort of ground colour I inmagine, like music has his ground rithm. They don't sell Buffed here in The Netherlands tho, so I had to look for a substitute which is warm grey from old Holland also a nice brand execept for the fact it dries out rather fast.

Thanks for you comment, much appreciated!

Thank you. I just checked and the brand name for the Buff titanium David Curtis uses is Daler Rowney, England.

P.S. Have you heard of the Loving Vincent movie that is coming out next year and that it is almost only composed of thousands of original paintings of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings? Looks very exciting!!
