You did a great job on the shape of this house. I am always interested to see how the architecture of one location is so different from another location. Nicely done!
I guess it's mainly caused by the heavy paper I use Isaac, the paint sucks right into it and makes multiple layers much more easier to apply.
Yes I see what you mean Joan, ... this one has a so called gable roof. Many buildings here have their particular form and use but it also depends on where you are in The Netherlands.

Beautiful work! I like how tightly you controlled the saturation of the colors. It really lends this painting to a peaceful atmosphere.
