I like these two recent landscapes. They have a peaceful feel to them.

It never ceases to amaze me how similar our landscapes are. This could be anywhere in England. Great work as always.

Here in the US as well! Rene’s works mirror what we have here in upstate NY (former Dutch colony! Fort Orange!)

Fort Orange ?!

Guess that's named after the Dutch royalty Willem from Oranje (Orange)
It's truning out now a days that those royalty's aren't royal as it seems, ...
It's a within a feodal system.

That's said you two are right some area's have a little rolling hills but most of our country is as flat as a billiard

Yes! We have a lot of history that still maps back to NY as a Dutch colony and the “patroons”. Even though the Hudson Valley of NY is very hilly, your works are snapshots that could appear here. Especially the farm clutter! Very interesting history that connects the lands: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Orange_(New_Netherland)

Yes we Dutch are something special aren't we, ... and still are in a sense.

You should know that our royalty is tightly linked to the British one which has some very strong connection to the banking system world wide, ... City of London, Wall street, The Bank of International Setlements and so on.

If you are interrested you can listen to a podcast with Matt Ehret and Jerm Warfare.
Matt really lays the connections which is quiete amazing.
