Sleen is a gorgeous little township with all kinds of old

farmhouses and a little centre place with more city-like buildings

While away in the North of Holland (Stadskanaal) I did

paint a little, ... one of them is this little old but still in use

railroad bridge, in use by historic trains though.

Last week I painted at Misti under a shelter in the rain, > There <

and while walking back I noticed this little old grown green boat.

I just had to paint it someday I thought then and today it was a nice

opportunity, together with Lars Reinboud btw. a young artist from

Arnhem who painted a detail of the shipyard it self.

Searching for a nice spot to paint, I came across this waste field which

is designated to become a industrial area. It was full of rape blooming for

the last time, and together with the sunrise it was just awesome to paint.

Every spot is worth painting, ...

Btw. I noticed that Blogger has changed the way you can watch the picture

when clicking on it. It use to be very detailed but now it isn't anymore.

The way to watch it more closely now is by clicking it with your right-mouse click

and then select the 'Open in new window' button. I like the more detailed look from

other artist a lot so I thought others might do the same with my paintings.

everything is really green, ... I love it, although when

closely looked you can see a hunch of autumn.

I've found a spot where autumn is waiting, it was soo serene

and with such a calm water I just was stunned.

You could almost think that I am living in Zevenaar.

But that isn't right, I am visiting a physiotherapist for my wrist,

instead on an operation which an surgeon suggested I've decided

to visit a physiotherapist for a thorough treatment, and I think it's

helping, ... at least he's not cutting into my painters-hand.

walk from the train station, so I definitely gonna get back someday!

This is the wettest summer ever here in Holland.

So you can't get around it, ... in the end you will

paint in the rain. I did however found shelter by

Misty a shipyard in Arnhem.
