The tallest tree. Holland.

Here in Westervoort we had a little monastery in the past,
after that it was for a long time some sort of cultural building,
and now they renovated it completely.
Besides the building are standing three of the tallest trees
in Westervoort their even taller then the local church!

Anyway it was a lovely spot to paint, great fun!

With a little luck.

"With out title." Oil on canvas.
90 x 120 cm.

Not many of you know that I 've painted a lot
abstract landscapes small ones, and big ones.
That all changed when I discovered plein air
painting .... and some nasty experience with art.
Anyway I thought I show some and with a
little luck I have some new work tomorrow.

Plein air, ..... that is!

Zomers buitje. Holland

Today I stayed a little closer to home,
just on the other side of the dike there
are some pools, they where created by
flushing water from the river IJssel
where the dike broke in the past,
the dike runs around them and there
are lovely fishing spots also, very deep water,
and some of them are used as swimming
pool as well in the summer.

This ones not:

very sad day during the cremation ceremony,
and today it's a little odd to getting on with live.
I've found this little waterlilies
during one of my bike tours the last days
(getting some fresh air once and again)
an thought today just try,
it couldn't harm if it's not working out,

so here you are my first after.
