Just a afternoon sketch, ... although.

I was looking forward to it the whole day.

I knew the light should be great in the afternoon or

late afternoon.

Harbour-days Arnhem, Holland.

Visited the so called "Kadedagen" in Arnhem last weekend.

The first day I took my usual gear (tripod and so on) with me

and the second a little less conspicuous pochade, which helped

a lot.

I am soo happy with the little shipyard here in Doetinchem,
it's a great spot there's always a scene to paint.

Like a zoo for hunters, so to speak.

A little preview of what's to come next weekend.
There are the so called 'Kadedagen' again in Arnhem.
All kinds of historic ships boats and craftsmen demo's.
A great opportunity to paint those lovely old steamers, sailers
and other ships which are all over the area normally.

I was on my way to the local harbour when I noticed this little
tugger, ... what a lovely little present that was!
