"Leonards balkon." Holland.

Funny title isn't it?

That's because during my session two boys came looking what I was doing,
and one of them was trilled too see that I was painting his balcony.
Not clear to see but it's the green one just above the second car.

Due to an exhibition here in my little town about
"De Hondsbreoeksche pley." I been busy framing, ... so no
painting today. Although I've found one that I never uploaded.

Emmaplantsoen. Holland.

I visited this site this spring and wanted to paint it
then. But just then they where renovating that white building
and it was all covered in plastic, .....

So today it was the day.

The old Jewish graveyard. Holland.

Last Friday we past this large building at the entrance of
the graveyard we went, on the wall there was a plate with the text:

"De stof keert weder tot de Aarde zoals zij was
en de ziel keert weder tot God die haar gegeven heeft."

(The ash turns back to the Earth where she became
and the soul returns to God who has given her.)

Today I had to go back to paint this special place,
its an old Jewish cemetery, and the people who live
in the building invited me for a cup of coffee, and a tour
around the graveyard, such a lovely, soft feeling it gave.
Something like everything is just right.
