I'd like to add that I like the painting also because of the composition. It's rather Dutch in my eyes with the small road in the dike, the house being so low in relation to the road, the fences, trees, grey skies. Nice scene René!
I can really feel the environment in your paintings. I am becoming very familiar with the landscape around your town I feel right at home. Keep up the great work.
