Tree. Holland.

Although my first thought was to go to the shipyard again today,
I biked a little further to visit the place of my friend.
Painted the area, ....

"Dag Guus." Arnhem.
(Bye Guus.) Oil on board.
18 x 30 cm.

Simply divine.
Love the vertical composition.
Seems like this was a cathartic painting for you in regards to your friend.

Mooi man! Knap gedaan hoor. Ik wil ook wel eens een bosachtige toestand schilderen, maar weet nog niet hoe. Het is allemaal zo veel groen he. Maar ik denk toch dat ik het een keer probeer. Met mooi zonlicht wat door de bomen valt...
Maar dit is toch wel heel erg mooi hoor!

Thank you all!! :-)

Rob,
What houses?!?!?! :-|
It was very peaceful although they where mowing the field right behind me, good thing you can paint sound that way.

Jennifer,
Thank for pointing that out Jennifer, the vertical comp. was what I looked at during the ceremony not that I thought it back then, but I wanted to show more of that tree than normal. It's very cathartic maybe it's wise to paint this scene once and awhile. Thank you for the comforting remarks.

Jiddje,
Sure do that!! It's great fun to do, although not as easy as it looks. Good thing you don't know how, because thinking during painting isn't that good let alone thinking during painting forest, .... that asking for disasters.
