"Nog steeds overeind." Arnhem.

This building I had so long in the picture, ... it's quite a lonely building
surrounded by all kinds of industrial stuff.
Now that they have cut down some trees surrounding it it 's even more obvious
that it's gonna be disappear soon.

Sometimes it's almost a run against time to paint all those lovely old buildings
and country sides before they change it, again and again and again.

Yeah Holland isn't Holland anymore, they better can call it

"The Netherlands."

"Nog steeds staand." Arnhem, Holland.
(Still standing.) Oil on panel. 24 x 30 cm.

Ow btw. I did managed to sneak out yesterday altough it turned almost out to be
nocturnal, ...

"Oud en Nieuw." Westervoort, Holland.

Like these paintings! Especially the sky of the second one is astonishing. I know what you mean with the expanding industrial stuff. Your paintings certainly have a historical value.

Yeo, Rene !

The trees seem to hold a fasination for me in this piece. No explanation why.
Nice work, Rene. Keep painting the architecture and such, Rene. They will not be bringing any of that back anytime soon.. :- )

Take care..

Thanks Guys,

I makes me a little sad sometimes but also thankful to be able to paint it while it's still there.

I thought you would Marco, Crazy things are just your cup of thee isn't it?
