"Oud maar levend." Arnhem, Holland.

Hey no boats today?!

Nope not today, although I painted one, but it's not
yet finished. So tomorrow a boat again.

This is made in the floodplains of the Rhine though.

These are ancient willows, hopefully I will be able to paint
those in the background also one day.

I just love those old trees, they have such character and you have painted this so well. Great colours and the grass is perfect. This looks like it could be somewhere near where I live - wonderful work!

They are great those old trees, pity there aren't that much
in Holland anymore. These willows tend to look very old very
soon that little comforting.
