This afternoon I visited an other kids farm,
one in Arnhem. It's more how it should be
I think not as clean as the other two I visited.
My idea is that you have to stand with your boots
in the mud when you visit such a place, and I must
say, this farm was much more inspiring.
"Ganzen." Arnhem, Holland.

Fun to see you do these animals, René, Just go for it man, I hear you complain, and I see you go on. Love your sketches too.
Yeah give those birds some bread!
I think your geese are getting better. Like this one the most. Must be hard painting those (moving)birds plain air? Sometime ago I saw a good solution for this problem in a dutch satirical program "draadstaal". It had something to do with a gun.
Your geese are starting to look more and more goosey, well done. I like this one a lot.
Standing in mud must work for you! These look good.
Rene' the "gucks" are great. But looking back into your blog... MAN... your recent paintings are all superb! Very, very strong work friend.
Beautiful puddle and geese!
Wonderful brushwork!
Love these 'puddle-ducks' & reflection - strong painting- beautiful composition (whether you call them ducks or geese doesn't matter in this case ....in my humble opinion!).
Wow what a reactions,
Thanks everyone, I think I am
gonna try it some more. It's a whole new area life animals, I could shoot them first Dick but I think that will decrease my blog reaction a lot hehehe especially when I make Work In Progress photo's as well from them.
Btw. Dead animals isn't that more Larry's area lately?
hmm, I think Chardin used to paint dead ones too. It must leave your table rather messy though! ;-)
