No fun today, more a struggle wind rain hail and bright sun.
I can handle a lot (I think) but wind, ... it's driving me nuts!
Had to tweak it a little bit at home, those little branches just
are impossible to paint with that much wind.
"Twee wilgen." Lathum, Holland.
(Two willows.) Oil on panel.

Je hebt de strijd met de elementen
wel gewonnen, want die bomen van jou dansen met je mee..........
Great trees!
That sounds like Caithness weather René! The brush just doesn't go where you want it to in those conditions does it?
You did a good job though. There is a nice feeling of sunlight, and the dry-brushing works well for the moving branches.
nice to see you paint something organic again rene
great trees!!
Wow, beautiful job on the trees!
Thank you Roelien, Brigitte, Keith and Rob and Leslie.
It was quite a challenge Rob, painting trees again, let alone bare trees! Indeed Keith I hate wind everythings moving and jumping around. When some things don't work out you can end up all stressed. Sometimes I think thats the reason Vincent cut off his ear, only to stop the sound of the mistral wind.
Sure can see the wind in this one!
It looks good on the painting... that wind you dont like :-)
