"Kleurenmolen." Het Zand, Holland.

Back after a few days of painting less color then you can see,
each time it's awesome experience, to try to put as much color
into your work and still have the feeling your hardly scratching the
surface.

"Kleurenmolen." Het Zand, Holland.
(Colormill.) Oil on board.
15 x 24 cm.

I DO know what you say about colour René!!

Lovely brush work in the clouds & sky - i can almost smell the wind & sunshine. Pure plein air well painted. Bravo.

There's a wonderful feeling of space and atmosphere in this one, after your recent more close-up paintings.

The touches of bright colour work well at suggesting the flowers.

I can almost touch the space - I love the way you put the "bollenstreek" in your painting.

Thank you all!

Keith I changed the upload size again, it's even more detailed now I think.

Wow, this is special Rene - I can feel the air all around me. It's so difficult to do these "views towards the horizon" but this one is a real cracker!
