It's really fun to paint some people around you, just give 'em a book or put 'em in front of the tv... works wonders :P Looks like you discovered this as well!
One point of critique, it is really unclear where the spine of the book is. Looks like two different sizes of pages.

Hehehe Annelotte, your right but on the other hand you have no idea how my girlfriend is reading books, ... you don't wanna know either :-P
This is great, I guess you can paint anything! Lovely portrait. I see from later posts you are feeling better, that is good.
