I so love this painting. Love the piecefullness it brings. I remember as a child in the summers walking up & down a dirt road beside the railroad tracks. Hoping to see the train come by. It was some of my most memorable times. Thank you for sharing. Love the title.

Very lovely, I'm drawn to the light on the stream. The stream takes the viewer to the person in the distance and I love the lime leaves in the foreground.....succulent new growth :-)

Welcome to the DailyPainter originals group. I love your work and enjoyed looking through your blog. I have been wanting to try some plein air, and for my first effort in a long time, I used the Macpherson palette you described. It was very difficult trying to mix all the greys of our landscape at this time of year, plus it was raining. I admire those who paint plein air.
Love this piece and the touches of yellow that suggest spring is definitely here.
