No I use Cad red medium as well lately, during my trip to the bulb fields I added that colour because you just can't mix orange with Alizarin. I read (Edgar Payne landscape compositions) that when using veridian btw. you get a much brighter green then when you mix it with yellow and blue, so I am even in doubt to switch to a full colour palette. Guess that will take a year or two for me to really overcome that thought but never the less I am thinking of it. How are you with the 3 color system you use, any doubt on that one?

Nice color. Are you still using the Alizarin, Cad Yellow and Ultramarine?
Thank you Kevin,

Whichever red you use, I always love these paintings where it is contrasted with deep black.
Great! I like how you've handled the water with just a few brush strokes.
Unusual composition, and colours - very nice work.
