"Towards the new train station." Westervoort, Holland.

Yesterdays effort, a little view of the train track towards our
new build train station. It climbing a little here because in the end
it has to cross a river, the IJssel.

Anyway with these kinds of summers everything is soo green, but also so gray.

"Naar het nieuwe station." Westervoort, Holland.
(Towards the new train station.) Oil on panel. 24 x 30 cm.

Brilliant Landscape Rene. It`s got everything that I like in a Landscape painting, Impressionistic but you certainly can see what it is, wonderful. All the best rene.

Very nice. Love the Queen Anne's lace dotting the countryside!

Great job, sir! What colors are you using to mix your darks?

Thank you all,

I use a Kevin McPherson's palette Randy extended with Cad red and Viridian.

Mcpherson's palette contains:

Ultrm. Blue dark, Alizarin Crimson medium, Cad yellow light.

I appreciate the info Rene. That is my exact palette too. I haven't been happy with my darks, but the same colors are working for you. I'm not using Gamblin Viridian. It's a cheaper brand and not cutting it. It's gone. Back to the easel.

Thanks again!
