"Boothuisjes." D'chem, Holland.

I wanted to paint these little boathouses since I moved to Doetinchem.
For all you folks knowing the book 'A Light Touch',
(Painting Landscapes in Oils) by David Curtis it should be obvious why.
Today I thought this is the light I was waited for and I'll guess it's worked out quiet well.

Hi Rene, Your painting, so peaceful and well done. Easily transported there for a gentle afternooon! Thank-you!!

Of course I quickly retrieved David's book from my art room and looked to find the scene you painted. I found it on page 48 along with a photograph of the scene's vantage point from which David Curtis painted it.

I am so glad that you share ypur work with us. God bless you and yours, C-Marie

Wonderful - the red roof against the trees and the beautiful reflections - it looks like a Constable painting,
