Renkumse Molen. Renkum, The Netherlands.

Last Friday I painted with Thomas Roberts an artist from Richmond, Virginia.
What else for such an American then to paint then a real Dutch Windmill?

Thanks Thomas for the great day.

The picture of us is made by a a timed camera mounted on a fence, ... couldn't get it straight up tho.

Oil on panel. 30/40 cm.

Fun to see you at work. Oh, and I love windmills. It is wonderful to capture the moments from the past. Windmills are fast disappearing in the U.S.

Those oldy's still stands firm overhere, they are being well taken care off, the newbies are a burden tho, they spoil the landscapes more and more overhere, together with the solarpanels it doesn't get any prettyer around here, ...
