I am always fascinated when I travel to other countries to see the difference in the architecture from here. Your paintings of the buildings and the landscapes are great! I was in Amsterdam and Delft a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot.
Amsterdam en Delft are on the other side of the country (where I live) I live more against the German boarder, ... much more agricultural and rural in a sense.
That side of The Netherlands is more or less BELOW sealevel so that's why all the water everywhere, ...
To give you some info about the architecture here, ... the front of this farm is where the people live and the back part is for the cattle, ...in those days. When you could see it from above it looks like a big letter "T" therefor they call is a T farm overhere. Ussualy these farmes where for cows. now a days the cows are sepperated you just can see the big barn in the back.
So much for todays lesson in Agricultural Holland ;-)
