Gouda again.

Way to hot today to paint outside, for that matter it's almost
to hot to do anything, so here on of my little trip to Gouda.
I know for the one who are visiting my blog each time I upload
it's not so long ago, ... but it looks so nice on the Dailypainters.com gallery
Hehehe, ... tonight heavy thunder and .... RAIN!!

TURF!! Holland.

Turf, that's what peat is called here in Holland.
Not long ago it was quite a industry here, even my
grandfather worked in the peat industry till he got caught
in this apparatus and lost his leg, exactly this apparatus,
my dad told, it now stands in a locale museum and while being there on vacation
I just had to paint it

Back for some days.

Back for some days, ...
The weather was awful everyday rain, rain, and some more rain.
at night some rain, after that some more rain and then rain, not
a nice way to spent time to camp, ...
At least I maneged to paint a bit, regardless the rain and my broken tripod.

Packing for a few days off, I post a painting from earlier this week,

Been to Utrecht yesterday, a great day although the weather was
changing all te time Sun rain clouds and wind, hard to choose one
scene. So a tweaked a bit at home.

Made 4 not big in size but for me a new record!

"Doetinchem" Holland.

On from yesterday also, .. it's such bad weather today.

The great white blob on the right is some sort of artwork called "D-tower".
It's made by the artists Q.S. Serafijn and Lars Spuybroek. It can change color
from red, yellow, blue and green, each of those colors represent a state of emotion.

For me .. for me it looks like one giant tooth.

Time to paint again, ... I was sooo glad to get outside again,
I felt almost guilty for all those people who don't paint, .. what a hell
that must be?

Anyway this is more or less a commissioned work, so not much opportunity
to get a nice composition or so, this little house should be somewhat
recognisable for the people who are buying this painting I guessed.
