Wow what a spring, at least yesterday, you almost
could call it summer, ....
I've got some comment that my paintings look a bit
underexposed I can't seem to get it right, maybe you
could help by commenting how much grey areas you can see
below the painting, ... it should be 14 including.(black&white)
Thanks.

Wonderful artwork! I would love to paint on location, but I have a 3 yr old son, so that is out of the question. (:
That looks sweet sunny René, yeah today is bad! where is the sun now on my weekend! ARG. Cant really help you with the exposure thing because i know my screen is waaaayyy too dark,I see like 5 squares as black :-(
Still i see the sun in your work :-)
Beautiful colors.
I see 2 rows of 7 blocks from light to dark. Does this help?
Hi Rene,
Really like the suggestion of the people and sign.
On the top shade scale, numbers 5 and 6 are close together. But still show a step.
On the bottom tint scale, numbers 4 and 5 are close together and show no step.
Overall it looks very good on my monitor. But it is difficult in this medium to control image quality.
I use Googles Analytics, which will give you some information at what resolution your images are being viewed at. Which is helpful.
Always enjoy your work.
It looks OK to me and I can see all 14 squares easily.
I opened it in a photo editor (GIMP) and set the 'black point' on the black square. It did darken it slightly, but not by much. You can see the edited image here
Great piece René. Nice to see the green back in the trees.
A sunny painting.
I see all the shades of grey, including B&W
All 14 shades from black to white look good to me. I think your image is exposed correctly, but everyone's monitor is adjusted soooo differently.
Beautiful painting, as usual!
hi rené
is the white panel underneath the 'no parking' road signmeant to be pure white?
my screen has it closer to thefirst tone down from the top white.
a mid-grey background to a webpage tends to give the impression of being darker, no?
as wiele says, "i see the sun in your work" being the most important.
Hier op mijn werk achter het mooie computerscherm zie ik alle grijsbalkjes.
Niks aan de hand met je exposure!
